Who doesn’t need a happy Axolotl Buddy to brighten up the winter blues?
The instructions are written in US crochet terms with step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces and finish the toy. There are charts for the set up rounds of the head and gills, and the tail frill.
When made with DK weight yarn (Sample 1 is made in Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK) and 3.0mm hook the finished Axolotl will measure about 24cm/9 ½in long. When made in Chunky textured yarn with 5mm hook the sample measures about 50cm/19in long.
