Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without little elves helping out around the house! Let’s hope the little pegs will come in handy! Use them to pin up your cards, hold closed or add them to tree branches in place of ornaments.

This pattern uses written instructions for all parts, with added diagrams to help along the way. There are also step by step photos detailing how to begin crochet using the ‘magic ring’. You will mostly need basic stitches – this is a very simple crochet that takes about 2-3 hours to do.

The pegs inside are ordinary household pegs (I used the blue ones in the 3rd picture, but any would work). Yarn used is Artesano Alpaca, its very very thin – a really fine yarn will work best, but you could also separate a chunkier yarn into individual strands.
